Portugal Tourism

A long-term strategic partnership began in 2017 with the outcome of increasing TTC’s dedicated Portugal product. Through ongoing marketing support from the tourism board across both consumer and trade marketing channels we have grown our USA sales into Portugal by 29%.

VisitBritain

Our campaign aim was to educate consumers that there is more to England then the capital city. Using Trafalgar’s Be My Guest as the hook, we rolled out a campaign in our leading markets– USA and AUS across online display and video advertising, social media, email, print ads and trade training events.

South Africa Tourism

ACCLAIM Trafalgar’s annual agent fam trip in 2019 was held in South Africa. We hosted 100 travel agents from our key markets – USA, AUS, CAN, UK, ASIA. South Africa Tourism’s were the host sponsors and in return they received branding across all marketing touch points pre, during and post the trip.

Tourism New Zealand

New Zealand is more than just an adventure destination and our activity aimed to challenge perceptions with a content led campaign focused on the destinations rich culture and history. The shoot was produced by the Contiki Marketing Lab team and following the campaign we saw a booking increase of 17% year on year.

Movember

The Contiki Marketing Lab produced a video shoot capturing authentic mental health stories which affect the lives of men today. The campaign rolled out globally across organic video seeding, editorials, email and social media. Collectively TTC staff fundraised $32k for Movember.

River Island

The Contiki and River Island team traveled to Italy and captured the personal stories of five influencers. Utilizing the Contiki Marketing Lab’s content production expertise the team created video and photography assets for both brands which resulted in a 12% sales pax increase on Contiki Italy product.

GoPro

Go Pro and TTC have been partnering on content and product marketing for many years. Our audiences have a passion for travel and human expression and through various activities we’ve captured this shared passion working with our influencers and content creator partners.

DG Amazing Experiences

In 2021, TTC began a new partnership providing private and exclusive travel experiences to private jet owners and CEOs.
African Travel, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, and Uniworld are featured in the invitation only DG Amazing Experiences CEO-style newsletter and a Private Jet Card Comparisons Rewards program.

GreenWave

As part of The Travel Corporation’s Climate Action Plan, TreadRight has invested in GreenWave, a regenerative ocean farming organization studying kelp’s carbon storage potential while creating co-benefits through sustainable food production systems.

Pathways Project

This TreadRight funded project aims to increase representation of Black, Indigenous, and other historically underrepresented individuals in travel and tourism, with a focus on integrating program participants into roles in the guided tour space.

Wild Entrust

TreadRight’s Wildlife partner Wild Entrust Africa has been working since 2014 in the village of Habu, Botswana, to mitigate human-wildlife conflict and reduce bushmeat hunting in the area through an integrated community development and conservation program.

Shaping a Net Zero Destination

TreadRight and The Travel Corporation have partnered with The Travel Foundation and VisitScotland to support VisitScotland’s ambition to become the world’s first net zero destination.
