Travel is a privilege, but with that privilege comes a responsibility; to ensure we have a positive impact on the places we go, the people we meet and the wildlife we enjoy. For us, travel is of equal importance for the visitor and the visited. This is our impactful PURPOSE. It’s the principles we work by. At every level of our business, we’re committed to MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®. We pursue this mission in two ways: by addressing the impact of our operations and trips, and through the philanthropic efforts of the Treadright Foundation.
How We Tread Right
In 2025, our 5-year sustainability strategy How We Tread Right, consisting of 11 goals addressing the impact of our business and trips, came to a close. With 8 of our 11 goals achieved, and the rest ongoing, we are proud of our achievements and our learnings. Learn more about our progress, as we prepare to launch a new strategy later in 2026.
Our Net Zero Journey
Our Climate Action Plan outlines how we will reach net zero GHG emissions across the value chain by 2050 from a 2019 baseline year, with accompanying short-term and long-term targets that are validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). Learn more by visiting our Impact Hub.
